Smiling Chart Goals  :

4. To promote self monitoring throughout the performance, and long term planning.

Once you set tasks schedule which is appropriate for your family and experienced  

Working with the Tick Task, then you can combine the Smiling Chart in your daily routine.

The" Smile "Stickers are given for performing daily activities on time.

You decide whether to give a Smile for each task that was performed on time, or to give the Smile on certain tasks such as leaving home on time.

The child or the parent sticks the Smile on the magnet which represents the task he performed on time. It is recommended to enable the child to be the one who is responsible for sticking the Smile on the magnet, which will encourage mutual trust, sense of independence and control.

After the child finished all tasks on the panel or at the end of the day he can take off the stickers from the magnets and stick them on the right column on the chart.

 

For example: a child that brushed teeth , got dressed and wore shoes on time, but didn't eat breakfast and didn't leave home on time –will stick 3 stickers and will pass them to the chart( in the morning raw.).

The child will continue with this process throughout the day collecting stickers.

At the end of each day you can write the daily summary or use the Numbers stickers to place the daily summary on the weekly chart.
